A bridge (fixed partial denture) is a device that fills the gap where teeth are absent.
Adjacent teeth will be crowned and a "replacement" tooth will fill the empty space.
Oral function and appearance are important reasons for wearing a bridge.
There are other options for missing teeth.
Implants are usually the recommended replacement option, but if not
affordable a removable partial denture can be functional.
